Really, one engine mount has to be this hard, really?

I almost went and looked at that Impreza sport wagon today after spending twice as much time to not change one 944 engine mount as it took me to do both of the 535 engine mounts. It was so easy on the old BMW, I think I got over confident and missed a step on the 944 but for now I say to hell with it.

I don’t work on Fridays, I’m going to bring a book somewhere to have lunch and one or two of the above beers.

Know that feel. Every job I do seems to take twice as long as it should.

I mean why wouldn’t the 7th spark plug break in half?

Oh god, if a spark plug broke in half, I may be using tears as liquid wrench.

I’m the one that bought two 30 year old German cars. I have no one to blame but myself. It just so happens, I’m not as good of a wrench as I always hope I’ll be. But I keep trying...

It actually made it easier. I was able to use a 5/8" wrench with a pivoting socket end to fit it in there. Beats the universal mess I managed to break it with.

Oakshire! That’s one of my top stouts for sure.
